SPACE
Shaping the Next Billion.
By 2050, Africa will be home to a quarter of the world’s population—with Nigeria expected to grow by over 400 million people. A large portion of this population will be children. At Happy Ladybird, we’re not just educating today’s learners—we’re preparing the next billion.
We believe that educating a child takes a village. From parents to policymakers, everyone has a role to play. That belief inspired SPACE—our flagship event designed to bring key players in the education ecosystem together in a fun, festival-like atmosphere.
What is SPACE?
SPACE stands for Shop, Play, Arts, Craft, and Eat—a vibrant event where children learn, explore, and create lasting memories through freedom, play, and creativity.
Built on the 4Cs of the 21st Century:
- Creativity: Inspiring children to design, build, and express original ideas.
- Collaboration: Encouraging teamwork, connection, and shared experiences.
- Communication: Helping children think clearly and express themselves confidently.
- Critical Thinking: Empowering them to problem-solve, question, and shape the world around them.

SPACE is more than an event. It’s a movement to nurture thinkers, makers, and leaders—starting from childhood.
